Mrs. Karen Farzin
Karen has been employed in LCPS for the past 16 years and has worked at Stone Bridge since the
school opened in 2000. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech and a Master’s of Library and Information Science degree from The Catholic University of America. A Virginia native, Mrs. Farzin has
lived in Loudoun County for 32 years. She is a coach for the Battle of the Books Team and the Library Teen Advisory Group.
Mrs. Cassandra Donahue
Cassandra started teaching in Loudoun County in 1993 at Park View High School and she joined the
SBHS staff when the school opened in 2000. Before joining the library staff in 2013, she taught English at all grades and levels from 1993-2013 and she served as the English Department chair from 2010-2013. Mrs. Donahue attended Mary Washington College and graduated with a B.A. in English and Education and an endorsement in Journalism. She received her Masters degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University in 2002, and she
completed her Library Media Endorsement from the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia at Wise in 2010. She is also a co-sponsor of the Battle of the BooksTeam and the Library Teen Advisory Group.
